DEAR DIARY

I made this video during my high school years. It is based on a real diary of a teenage girl I found on the street, in which she describes her experiences and feelings (especially regarding the boys she meets) for several months. In the work, I asked a friend to read what was written in a diary, and added onto the sound photographs and images I had created or collected from the Internet. In doing so, I wanted to express the subtext I recognized in the writing of that girl, that in my view it embodies issues that all teenagers face, and I have faced myself - intimacy, love, body image and sexuality.
